• In Division Four, Chassell fell to Bessemer 69-55.
• In Division Three, Jeffers’ season ended with a 71-50 loss to Iron Mountain. Johnny Schutz led the Jets with 21 points, and Christian Hocking added 17. Foster Wonders scored 34 for the Mountaineers. See video highlights here.
In girls basketball tournament regional finals tonight…
• In Division Four, Ewen-Trout Creek plays Carney-Nadeau at 7:00 at Gladstone. The Panthers are 17-1; the Wolves are 20-0.

The Finlandia University baseball team has added another recruit. Quajae Harvin is from Orlando, Florida.

The Detroit Tigers concluded their spring schedule with a 5-0 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays yesterday. Casey Mize threw four scoreless innings, but left as the Rays scored three times in the fifth.

The Milwaukee Brewers wrapped up their preseason schedule by defeating the Texas Rangers 6-3 yesterday. Brett Anderson allowed two runs over five innings. Kolton Wong homered.
