The Michigan Tech men’s basketball team fell to Wisconsin-Parkside 73-66 yesterday in their final game at the GLIAC/GLVC Challenge. Bryan Heath led the Huskies with 28 points.

At the GLIAC/GLVC Challenge in Illinois, the Northern Michigan University men’s basketball team fell to Lewis 87-83 yesterday.

The Northern women’s team got past Quincy University 59-46 at the GLIAC/GLVC Challenge in Allendale.

The Green Bay Packers’ defense melted down in a 47-25 loss to the Tennessee Titans yesterday. Marcus Mariota threw four touchdown passes for the Titans. Aaron Rodgers threw for 371 yards and two scores for the Packers. Green Bay has lost four of five, and is below .500 for the first time since 2008.

The Detroit Lions had the weekend off.

In last night’s game, the Seattle Seahawks got past the New England Patriots 31-24. The Seattle defense stopped New England four times inside the two yard line in the final two minutes to preserve the win.
