In boys high school basketball last night…
• Houghton earned its first victory of the season, 62-48 over Ewen-Trout Creek.

College Hockey

Michigan Tech’s Isaac Gordon has been named the Central Collegiate Hockey Association Rookie of the Month. The freshman forward recorded nine points for the Huskies in November.

NHL

The Rangers scored two late goals, and slipped past the Red Wings 3-2 last night. Moritz Seider and Robby Fabbri scored for Detroit. Ville Husso made 30 saves.

The Wings welcome the Blackhawks tonight. Because of NFL football on 99.3 The Lift, we’ll join the game in progress after Calumet High School basketball on KBear 102.3.

NBA

The Pistons set a new team record for futility, as they lost to the Lakers 133-107 last evening. Their 15th straight defeat marks the longest single-season losing streak in club history. Cade Cunningham led Detroit with 15 points.

The Pistons visit the Knicks tonight.

NFL

In tonight’s contest, the Cowboys entertain the Seahawks. Coverage will begin at 7:30 on 99.3 The Lift.
