The Milwaukee Brewers and Arizona Diamondbacks completed a five-player trade Saturday. Milwaukee sent shortstop Jean Segura to the D’backs, along highly-rated pitching prospect Tyler Wagner. In exchange, the Brewers get right-handed pitcher Chase Anderson, infielder Aaron Hill and minor league shortstop Isan Diaz. The Diamondbacks also included cash to cover some of the 12-million-dollars Hill will receive this season. Segura’s departure creates an opportunity for top prospect Orlando Arcia, who is still expected to open the season at Triple-A. Anderson is expected to join Milwaukee’s starting rotation.

Our high school basketball coverage continues Monday night, when the Dollar Bay-Tamarack City girls play at Jeffers. Our pregame show will begin around 7:00 on KBear 102.3 and KBear102.com.
