Finlandia Adds Fuller
The Finlandia University men’s basketball team picked up a new member yesterday. Sault Ste. Marie’s Terrance Fuller will join the Lions next season. Fuller was a U.P. Class A-B-C second team selection last year. This year, he led the Blue Devils to a 15-6 record, and a tie for first place in the Straits Area Conference.
NHL – Red Wings Host Sharks
The Detroit Red Wings host the Sharks tonight. Detroit will be without Eric Cole, who’s dealing with an upper body injury. Niklas Kronwall and Pavel Datsyuk will be game-time decisions. Face-off is at 7:30 on AM 1400 and FM 99.3 WCCY.
NBA – Pistons Prep for Magic
The Detroit Pistons play at Orlando tomorrow night.

Bryan Holaday’s grand slam powered the Tigers to an 8-4 victory over the Marlins yesterday. Miguel Cabrera made his first appearance of the spring at first base. He and DH Victor Martinez were both hitless. Alfredo Simon pitched into the fifth inning, and gave up four runs on eight hits. The Tigers face the Orioles this afternoon. David Price will start for Detroit.
The Brewers and the Athletics played to a 9-9 tie yesterday. Carlos Gomez homered for Milwaukee. Jimmy Nelson surrendered four runs over five innings. The Brewers will play the Mariners this afternoon. Mike Fiers will start.
