• Superior Service meets Gold Standard at 5:45.
• Tervo Agency takes on JB’s at 7:15.

MLB

The Tigers collected just three hits in a 4-1 loss to the Astros yesterday. Kenta Maeda struggled again, allowing all of Houston’s runs in the first two innings. Andy Ibáñez doubled home Detroit’s only run in the top of the ninth. Astros’ starter Ronel Blanco, who tossed a no-hitter earlier this season, turned in seven no-hit innings yesterday, but was pulled from the game because of an elevated pitch count.

The Tigers visit the Braves tonight. Reese Olson will start against Max Fried. Coverage will begin at 6:55 on 99.3 The Lift.

The Brewers came from behind to shade the Reds 5-4 yesterday. After spotting Cincinnati an early 3-0 lead, Milwaukee plated one run in the fifth, took the lead with a three-run Willy Adames homer in the sixth, and added an insurance run when Christian Yelich bunted home Brie Turang in the seventh. The Reds threatened in the top of the ninth, scoring one run before center fielder Blake Perkins threw out Stuart Fairchild at the plate to end the contest.

The Brewers visit the Angels tonight. Carlos Rodriguez will pitch against José Soriano.

The game-ending play was a scary one, as catcher William Contreras took a nasty blow to the head while tagging Fairchild. He lay on the ground for a few minutes afterward, and wasn’t available for post-game interviews. He was spotted with his teammates in the clubhouse later on, and will undergo concussion evaluation.

NBA

The NBA championship series continues tonight in Boston. The Celtics lead the Mavericks 3-1.

NHL

The Stanley Cup series resumes tomorrow night, as the Panthers host the Oilers. Florida leads that set 3-1.
