Eight Locals Earn HS Hockey All-State Honors

Eight Copper Country hockey players have been named to the Michigan High School Hockey Coaches Association Division Three All-State Team for 2021-2022.

Calumet placed forwards Jackson Rilei and Paul Sturos, defenseman Tom Erkkila, and goaltender Aksel Loukus on the First Team. They were joined by Houghton forward Camden Markham.

Members of the second team include Houghton forward Gaborik Carlson, Houghton defenseman Kade Farrell, and Hancock defenseman Chad Nordstrom.
