• Hancock blanked Jeffers 5-0. Rudy Bekkala scored twice for the Bulldogs. Chad Nordstrom had a goal and an assist, and David Olson and Max Heinonen also found the net. Dan Wroblewski made 19 saves to earn the shutout in net.

• Houghton travels to L’Anse.

The Calumet All-Sports Boosters Club is holding a used jersey sale Saturday morning in the CLK cafeteria. From 9:00 until noon, jerseys from volleyball, football, hockey, basketball, softball, track, cross country, golf and cheerleading will be available, along with all sorts of other items for sale. All proceeds go to the booster club.
College Basketball
Both Michigan Tech basketball teams entertain Lake Superior State tonight. The women tip off at 5:30, and the men at 7:30.
Both Northern Michigan teams entertain Ferris State.
NBA
The Detroit Pistons’ losing streak reached 10 games last night, with a tight 119-116 overtime loss to the Washington Wizards. Kyle Kuzma’s three-pointer at the buzzer decided the game, but only after the Pistons rallied from 13 points down in the fourth quarter to force the extra period. Jerami Grant led Detroit with 28 points, and Cade Cunningham added 21.
The Pistons visit the New Orleans Pelicans tomorrow.

The Detroit Red Wings visit the Saint Louis Blues tonight. Because of NFL football on 99.3 The Lift, Wings coverage will begin at 7:45 on KBear 102.3.
