MLB – Tigers Defeat Indians
Yoenis Cespedes drove in three runs, as the Detroit Tigers got past the Cleveland Indians 8-5 last night. Detroit scored single runs in the first three innings, then broke the game open with a four-run fourth. Tigers’ starter Kyle Ryan had control problems. He gave up three runs in the third inning, and escaped further damage when former Tiger Ryan Raburn grounded into a double play. Ryan was lifted in the fourth inning with the bases loaded. Blaine Hardy relieved him, got out of the jam, and earned the win.
The Tigers continue that series at Cleveland tonight. David Price will pitch against Danny Salazar. Hear the first pitch at 7:10 on AM 1400 and FM 99.3 WCCY.
