College Hockey

The Central Collegiate Hockey Association has inked a three-year media rights agreement with Midco Sports Plus. Midco will become the league’s exclusive streaming partner, with regular-season and post-season tournament games fed through a digital network that will be branded CCHA TV. Video feeds will be available via a web interface, mobile app, and on providers such as AppleTV, FireTV, and Roku. Officials did not say what subscription fees might cost.

NHL

In opening-round NHL tournament play last night…
• The Maple Leafs shaded the Bruins 2-1. That series is tied 3-3.

• The Predators host the Canucks. Vancouver leads that series 3-2.
