The Tigers knocked 12 hits on their way to a 6-2 victory over the Red Sox Saturday. Spencer Torkelson had two singles, a double, and a home run. Kerry Carpenter had two homers, and Eric Haase also went deep. Matt Manning pitched into the sixth, and gave up a run on two hits.

The Tigers play in Boston again today. Eduardo Rodriguez will pitch against Kutter Crawford. Coverage will begin at 11:40 on 99.3 The Lift.

Reliever Jason Foley has rejoined the team, following his bereavement leave. Trey Wingenter was optioned to Toledo to make room.

The Brewers came from behind to edge the White Sox 3-2 Saturday evening. Brandon Woodruff allowed single runs in the third and sixth innings. Milwaukee broke through with three in the seventh, on a two-run double by Tyrone Taylor, and an RBI single by William Contreras.

The Brewers conclude that set in Chicago this afternoon. Freddy Peralta will start against Dylan Cease.

The Cubs won, and the Reds were rained out, so Milwaukee leads the National League Central Division by two-and-a-half games over Chicago, and three games over Cincinnati.
