Calumet’s Djerf Named to All-WestPAC Girls Dream Team

Calumet basketball standout Elli Djerf has been named to the WestPAC Girls Dream Team.

Djerf was also named to the conference All-Defensive Team.

Two Copper Kings teammates – Marybeth Halonen and Jana Loukus – were placed on the Copper Division First Team, along with Maryellen Trewhella from Houghton, D’Andra Kero from Hancock, and Anna Malmquist from West Iron County.

Copper Division Honorable Mention votes went to Stella Wickstrom from Houghton, Taylor Sebbas from Hancock, Lizzie Torola from Calumet, and Jordan Shamion from West Iron County.

Tessa Leece of Westwood was named Player of the Year, and Patriots coach Kurt Corcoran was honored as Coach of the Year.
