Calumet’s Bjorn Honored as WestPAC Copper Co-Defensive Player of the Year

Calumet High School football standout Alan Bjorn has been named co-Defensive Player of the Year in the WestPAC Copper Division.

Bjorn shared the honor with Kingsford’s Noah Johnson. Eli Rouse of the Flivvers was selected as Offensive Player of the Year. Gladstone’s Vinnie Howes was named Lineman of the Year.

First Team players from local squads include Bjorn at linebacker and Travis Hyrkas at guard from Calumet, defensive back Wyatt Jenkins from Houghton, and Hancock kicker Luke Mikkola.
