In girls basketball tonight…
• Houghton tips off at Hancock. Coverage will begin around 7:00 on the Voice of the Gremlins, 97.7 The Wolf.
• Jeffers visits L’Anse.

In girls-boys doubleheaders…
• Baraga plays at Chassell.
• Ewen-Trout Creek travels to Watersmeet.

The pairings and schedule have been released for next week’s boys district basketball tournament.

In Division Two…
• Houghton will open the tournament at Gladstone on Monday at 6:00. Coverage will begin at 5:40 on the Voice of the Gremlins, 97.7 The Wolf. The winner of that game will host Kingsford Wednesday. Escanaba and Negaunee round out the district.

In Division Three…
• Calumet hosts Hancock Monday at 6:00. Coverage will begin at 5:40 on the Voice of the Copper Kings, KBear 102.3. The winner of that game will entertain Jeffers Wednesday. Westwood and Ishpeming round out the district.

In Division Four…
• In District 98, Baraga welcomes Dollar Bay-Tamarack City Monday at 6:00. The winner will host Lake Linden-Hubbell on Wednesday. L’Anse plays at Chassell on Wednesday.

 • In District 97, all games will be played at Ewen-Trout Creek. Bessemer will play Ironwood Monday at 7:00. The winner will meet Ewen-Trout Creek Wednesday at 7:00. Ontonagon will play Wakefield-Marenisco Wednesday at 5:30.

NHL

The Red Wings visit the Kraken this afternoon. Coverage will start at 3:15 on 99.3 The Lift.

NBA

The Pistons are off for the all star break, and return to action at Indiana Thursday.
