MLB – Tigers
The Detroit Tigers lost to the Cincinnati Reds 5-2 last night. Kyle Ryan pitched into the seventh for Detroit, and gave up only five hits. Three were home runs, though, and he was charged with four runs.

The Tigers face the Reds again, but the series moves to Cincinnati. David Price will pitch against Johnny Cueto. Hear the first pitch at 7:10 on AM 1400 and FM 99.3 WCCY.

The Tigers have signed both of their first-round picks in the recent draft. High school right-hander Beau Burrows and University of Tennessee outfielder Christin Stewart have agreed to terms. So has former Michigan State outfielder and fifth-round pick Cam Gibson – the son of former Tiger Kirk Gibson.

The Milwaukee Brewers fell to the Kansas City Royals 7-2 last night. KC pitcher Chris Young held Milwaukee batters to five hits over seven innings, and drove in three runs himself.

The Brewers take on the Royals again tonight, but the scene changes to Kansas City. Mike Fiers will start against Joe Blanton.

Milwaukee radio broadcaster Bob Uecker missed the game after sustaining a mild concussion Monday when he was hit by a ball during batting practice. Uecker called Monday night’s game, but experienced symptoms afterward, and spent the night at the hospital.
