In high school volleyball last night…
• Baraga swept L’Anse 3-0 (25-15, 25-18, 25-19).
• Jeffers downed Ewen-Trout Creek 3-1 (20-25, 25-19, 25-11, 26-24).
• Ironwood defeated Chassell 3-0 (25-15, 25-15. 25-15). For Chassell, Dusty Lippold had four kills and eight digs. Megan Holombo had nine digs.

In the National League Championship Series, the Diamondbacks shut down the Phillies 5-1. That set is tied 3-3, and will be decided in Philadelphia tonight.

The Vikings got past the 49ers 22-17 last night.
