With the regular season in the books, the Western Peninsula Athletic Conference has revealed its Copper Division All-Conference Football team. Kingsford’s Gavin Grondin was honored as Player of the Year, Mason Tappy from Kingsford was named Defensive Player of the Year, Lucas Thoune from Menominee was picked as Lineman of the Year, and Dawson Bardowski from Menominee was selected as Special Teams Player of the year. Kingsford’s Mark Novara was voted Coach of the Year, after the Flivvers won the league title.
Local members of the first team include:
- Wide Receiver – Cody Turner, Hancock
- Running Back – Jay Halonen, Houghton
- Defensive Line – Ruebyn Mensah, Houghton
- Defensive Line – Matthew Frantti, Calumet
- Defensive Back – Jared Lawson, Calumet
Local members of the second team include:
- Center – Luke Hill, Houghton
- Tight End – Kent Koskela, Calumet
- Running Back – Ben Anderson, Calumet
- Running Back – Brayden Gouge, Houghton
- Inside Linebacker – Trent Halonen, Calumet
- Defensive Back – Trevor Erva, Houghton
- Defensive Back – Nels Loukus, Calumet
