MLB

The Tigers return from the All-Star break tonight, when they visit the Blue Jays. Jack Flaherty will pitch against Chris Bassitt. Coverage will begin at 6:45 on 99.3 The Lift.

Milwaukee is off until tomorrow, when they play at Minnesota.

The Brewers have lost another pitcher for the season. Abner Uribe has undergone knee surgery, and hopes to be ready by next spring. Uribe hadn’t pitched since May 1st.

Major League schedules for next season have been released. The Tigers will have their earliest opening day game ever – March 27th against the Dodgers in Los Angeles. Their home opener will be April 4th against the White Sox. The Brewers will also start on March 27th, against the Yankees in New York. Their home opener will be against the Royals March 31st.

Running

The final registration opportunity for tomorrow’s Canal Run will take place this afternoon between 3:00 and 8:00 at Quincy Green. There will be no race day registration tomorrow. Bibs can be picked up at Quincy Green this afternoon, or tomorrow morning between 6:00 and 8:45 at the Church of the Resurrection. See race details here
