The Detroit Tigers and Kansas City Royals were weathered out yesterday. The game will be made up as part of a day-night doubleheader July 11th.

The Tigers have a scheduled day off today, and host the New York Yankees tomorrow. Tyler Alexander will start against Gerrit Cole. Coverage begins at 6:20 on 99.3 The Lift.

Pitcher Wily Peralta is back with the Tigers. Peralta was added to the 40-man roster yesterday, and brought up from Toledo. Elvin Rodríguez was sent down to the Mud Hens to make room on the major league roster. Bryan Garcia was designated for assignment to open space on the 40-man roster.
