College Softball

The Finlandia University softball team lost two to Wisconsin-Superior yesterday, 5-0 and 12-0. The Lions were held hitless in the opener, and had just two singles in the nightcap.

College Baseball

The Finlandia baseball team dropped both of its games at Wisconsin-Platteville yesterday, 10-5 and 17-4. Jacob Mead hit a home run in each game.

The Lions play two more at Platteville today.

NHL

The Detroit Red host the Ottawa Senators tomorrow. Coverage will begin at 7:15 on 99.3 The Lift.

NBA

The Detroit Pistons wrapped up their season with a 118-106 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers last evening. Luka Garza led Detroit with 20 points.

The Pistons end their campaign with a record of 23-59.

MLB

The Detroit Tigers lost to the Chicago White Sox 10-1 yesterday afternoon. Tarik Skubal struggled through four innings, giving up five runs on seven hits. Detroit batters were held to just two hits.

The Tigers host the Boston Red Sox today. Matt Manning will start against Michael Wacha. Coverage begins at 4:50 on 99.3 The Lift.

The Milwaukee Brewers earned their first win of the season, shading the Chicago Cubs 5-4 yesterday. Freddy Peralta gave up a three-run home run to Seiya Suzuki in the first inning. Willy Adames, Rowdy Tellez and Mike Brosseau homered for the Crew.

The Brewers visit the Baltimore Orioles this afternoon. Adrian Houser will start against Bruce Zimmermann.
