• In the Squirt division Dollar Bay won the championship, defeating OK Industrial 10-4 in the title game.
• In the Peewee division, the Green Bay Bobcats blanked Royale, Inc. 2-0 to take the title.
• In the Bantam Division, G and S Roofing skated past Calumet Auto Pro 7-2 to earn the championship.

College Basketball
The Michigan Tech women’s basketball team fell 75-59 at Lindenwood University yesterday. Ellie Mackay led Tech with 26 points. It’s the third straight loss for the Huskies.
The Tech men’s game at Winona State scheduled for tonight has been canceled because of COVID-19 issues on the Warriors team.
Northern Michigan University canceled this weekend’s games, and all remaining contests this month, because of illness.
The Finlandia University women’s basketball team defeated Martin Luther College 69-50 yesterday. Bailey Froberg led the Lions with 23 points.
The Finlandia men’s team dropped a 69-67 heartbreaker to Martin Luther. Jack Heichelbach’s layup with five seconds remaining was the game-winner for the Knights. B.J. Williams led Finlandia with 18 points.
NHL
The Detroit Red Wings are off the ice for at least a week. The Wings join six other NHL teams that have been shut down because of COVID-19 outbreaks. If the virus backs off, Detroit could return to the ice a week from tonight against the Rangers in New York.
All games that would require a team to cross the U.S.-Canada border have also been postponed.
NBA
The Detroit Pistons broke their 14-game losing streak with a 100-90 victory over the Miami Heat last night. Saddiq Bey scored 26 for Detroit. Hamidou Diallo added 15.
The Pistons visit the New York Knicks tomorrow night. Coverage will begin at 7:05 on 99.3 The Lift.
The NBA is changing some rules to help teams deal with the rising number of COVID-19 cases. Replacement players can now be signed to fill roster gaps created when players are assigned to the COVID list, and players on two-way contracts will be allowed to take part in more NBA games than the usual limit of 50.
NFL
Yesterday…
• The Detroit Lions stunned the Arizona Cardinals 30-12. Jared Goff threw three touchdown passes, and Craig Reynolds rushed for 112 yards.
• The Green Bay Packers held off the Baltimore Ravens 31-30. The Ravens scored a touchdown with 42 seconds remaining to pull within a point. Instead of kicking an extra point to force overtime, they tried a two-point conversion to win the game, and failed. Aaron Rodgers threw three touchdown passes.
• The Saints blanked the Buccaneers 9-0 in last night’s contest.
Tonight, there’s a doubleheader. The Las Vegas Raiders visit the Cleveland Browns for a 5:00 contest – that game was delayed from Saturday because of COVID-19 concerns. In the regular Monday night game, the Chicago Bears host the Minnesota Vikings. Hear both games on 99.3 The Lift.
Two of yesterday’s NFL games were postponed. The contests between the Seattle Seahawks and the Los Angeles Rams, and the Washington Football Team and Philadelphia Eagles have been moved to tomorrow night because of COVID-19 issues.
