Alex Faedo’s return from the injured list was a rough one last night, as the Tigers fell to the Blue Jays 12-2. Faedo got through two scoreless innings, gave up one run in the third, and then left as Toronto scored six times in the fourth. The Jays final five runs came in the top of the ninth inning off José Cisnero, who did not record an out. Matt Vierling had three hits and drove in a run for Detroit.

The Tigers welcome the Blue Jays again this afternoon. Matt Manning will start against Kevin Gausman. Coverage will begin at 12:45 on 99.3 The Lift.
