Chassell

Sharon L. (Carl) Leutz, 79, a resident of Chassell passed away Monday July 17, 2017, at her home.
She was born on March 25, 1938, in Monroe, MI, a daughter of the late Addison and Leona (Shinnevar) Cousino. Sharon was a student of St. Joseph’s High School in Monroe.
On July 11, 1956, she was united in marriage to Carl Leutz.  The Couple have resided in Monroe, Evart and since 2010 have made their home in Chassell.  While residing in Evart the couple raised three boys and Sharon worked for the Evart schools retiring as a bus driver and custodian.
For many years Sharon was also foster care provider with young people and more recently helped as an adult foster care provider.  As her mother and sisters that preceded her, she truly was a Proverbs 31 woman.  She enjoyed sewing in her free time and enjoyed helping as many people as she could.
Preceding her in death were three sisters and two brothers.

Her sons: Edward (Gordette) Leutz of Chassell
Charles (Lynette) Leutz of Evart
Scott (Jacki) Leutz of Gwinn
12 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild
Her brothers:
Jack (Barb) Cousino of Toledo, OH
Jim (Ruth) Cousino of Mio, MI
Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins
A graveside service for Sharon will be held at a later date at the Osceola Township Cemetery in Evart, MI.
