Shane Dale Odgers, 44 of De Pere, Wisconsin, formerly of Dollar Bay, passed away peacefully in his sleep from natural causes on December 13, 2017.

Born on June 26, 1973, Shane grew up in Mason and Dollar Bay. He attended Dollar Bay High School. He enlisted in the United States Navy during his senior year and left for basic training shortly after graduation.

After proudly serving twenty years in the Navy and working around the country, he settled in De Pere with his wife, two dogs and two cats.

Shane was well known for his boisterous personality, laugh and love for his family, friends and country. A lifelong joker, Shane enjoyed finding ways to both amuse others and himself. While he had a tough exterior, those who knew Shane soon realized he was a softie at heart. He was fiercely protective of those he loved and many knew him to be there in their time of need.

Shane was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Roy (Orv) Isaacson and Arthur Odgers. He is also preceded in death by cousins, Melanie, Nathan and Dawson.

He is survived by his wife, Mandy; children, Nick, Katie, Montana, Teddy, Alexus and Landon and his “little man,” grandson, Kaeden. He is also survived by parents, Dale and Judy Odgers; sister, Becki (Kevin) Clouthier; nieces, Erin Mahaney and Brooke (Ryan) May. Surviving also are his grandmothers, Margaret Odgers and Verne Isaacson; mother-in-law, Susan Leonard; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at 3 p.m. at First Lutheran Church in Dollar Bay.

Arrangements are being made by O’Neill-Dennis Funeral Home of Hancock and Ryan Funeral Home of De Pere.
