Gay – William Maynarich, 79, of Gay, passed away June 29, 2019 at the Omega House in Houghton.
He was born on April 7, 1940 to John and Florence (Schutte) Maynarich in Dearborn, Michigan. He graduated from Lake Linden-Hubbell High School in 1959. He was a construction worker with Operating Engineers Local 324. Bill enjoyed hunting and feeding the deer and NASCAR races.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Edward and James Maynarich.
He is survived by one brother, Robert Maynarich of Gay, three sisters, , Jean McGrew of Gay, Marilyn Winquist of Houghton and Carolyn Olsen of Fort Meyers, Florida, numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will celebrate Bill’s life at the Maynarich residence in Gay on Friday, July 5 at 2 p.m. Ryan Funeral Home is assisting the family.
