Willard Gougeon, age 94, passed away peacefully at Mission Point in Hancock on November 30th, 2022. He was born in Hubbell to Peter and Rose (Emmond) Gougeon. Willard later moved to Laurium. He was employed at the smelter in Hubbell and later worked at the Ford Dealership in Calumet. Willard enjoyed his garden also spent his summer days in his yard watching the traffic go by. We loved his many stories of the past and present.
He is preceded in death by his parents and 4 brothers: Clarence, Joe, Albert, and Louis as well as his sister Virginia.
A special thanks to the staff at Mission Point for their care and to Erickson-Crowley-Peterson Funeral Home.
At the request of Willard, there will be no visitation.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials and donations may be directed to Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly to honor Willard.
The Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home in Calumet is assisting the family with arrangements.
