Obituary: Victoria Crnkovich

Victoria L. Crnkovich, 65, a resident of Calumet passed away peacefully on Friday August 20, 2021 at the Omega House in Houghton.

She was born on March 27, 1956 in Hancock to Milton and Dorothy (Letto) Harvey. She attended the local schools and graduated from Hancock High School with the Class of 1974.

On January 25, 1974 she was united in marriage to Frank Crnkovich in Hancock.

Victoria worked in the Advertising Department for the Daily Mining Gazette for several years before going to work at Statefarm and Bruno’s Motors, and most recently as a bookkeeper for EconoFoods in Houghton.

Victoria loved spending time at her farm and working with her horses and being with and around her animals. She also enjoyed gardening and kite flying. She loved reading and spending time with her family and her friends, especially Joe and Joanne Picciano, and Doris Lund.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Dorothy Harvey and her brother, Gerald Harvey, and her Aunt Jean Junkin

She is survived by:

Her son: Chris (Kim) Crnkovich of Calumet
Her daughter: Dorothy (Alex) Loukus of Laurium

Her brother in law: Ed (Tina) Crnkovich of Dollar Bay
Step Mother: Jeanne Harvey of Marquette

Uncle: Howard Junkin of Boston Location
her sister in law: KayAnn Mansour of Arizona

Her step-sisters: Karen and Linda

Along with numerous grandkids, great grandkids, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Per Victoria’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a family memorial gathering will take place at a later date.
