Thomas C. Gribble, age 83 of formerly of L’Anse, MI passed away on Friday, August 17, 2018 in Bradenton, FL.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 12th at 3:00 p.m. in the L’Anse Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Steve Rhoades officiating. The Jacobson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Thomas C. Gribble, age 83 of formerly of L’Anse, MI passed away on Friday, August 17, 2018 at Bay Vue Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Bradenton, FL.
He was born August 10, 1935 in Bessemer, MI son of Raymond and Hazel (Trethewey) Gribble. Tom graduated from Hyland Park High School, and later furthered his education through Ford Motor Co. He worked as an engineer for Ford until 1985, when he retired. Tom was in the US Army during the Korean War from 1955-57. He married Kathleen Schumacher and they resided in Dearborn Heights and Milford, MI, moving to L’Anse once retired. They have been wintering in Bradenton, Florida for the past 10 years and moved there permanently in 2015.
There will be no funeral service per his request. Burial will be in the L’Anse Evergreen Cemetery. The Jacobson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
