Tammy Dawn Hakola of Rochester New York passed away on January 26th, 2022 at Rochester Regional Hospital. Tammy was born October 7,1973 to the parents of Roy and Gloria (Holden) Hakola. Tammy was free spirited and fiercely independent. She found her forever home in Rochester New York with her partner Eric Wood. Tammy worked in customer service for many years until health issues and then found happiness being a dog mom for the past many years with her dog Peanut which she lovingly referred to as Peanut Butter.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, brother, and numerous Aunts & Uncles. Tammy Is survived by her loving partner Eric, her son Jordan, step mom Tonni Hakola of Pelkie MI, sister Donna (Mike) Robinson of Parker City, IN, Amber (Chris) Tripp of Linden NC, Lorna (Chad) Bonin of Pelkie MI, Krystle (Brian) Vitek of Bark River MI, nephew’s Jason, Justin, Quinton, and Roy, nieces Amanda, Mihalia, Kalli Skyler, Rosalyn, Amara Emmalyn, and Sofielyn and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held in the Spring. She will be laid to rest in Pelkie Cemetery
The Reid Funeral Service and Chapel, L’Anse has been entrusted with the arrangements.
