Steven A. Peterson, 62 a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away as a result of an accident on Tuesday March 16, 2022.
He was born on August 24, 1959 in Laurium to Arnold and Marianne (Sturos) Peterson. He attended the local schools and graduated from Calumet High School with the Class of 1977.
Steve worked various jobs downstate and mostly drove taxi in Las Vegas.
He is preceded in death by his father Arnold, grandparents Gustav and Cecilia Peterson, Arne and Martha Sturos, and brother-in-law Paul Isaacson.
He is survived by his mother, Marianne Peterson of Canal View in Hancock

Also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday March 19, 2022 at the First Apostolic Lutheran Church of Calumet with Mark Halonen to officiate. Visitation will take place from 10:00 am until the time of the service on Saturday at the First Apostolic Lutheran Church of Calumet.
Burial will take place in Lake View Cemetery.
