Obituary: Steven P. Dlubala

As received from the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home:

Steven P. Dlubala, 68, a resident of Calumet passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, July 5, 2024. Steve was born on December 9, 1955 in Laurium, MI to Charles and Mayme Dlubala.

He was a graduate of Calumet High School with the class of 1974.

Steve began his working career in the summer of 1974 with the Northern Michigan Water Company. In 1992, the company transitioned to Michigan American Water, and he was named Manager. He dedicated 44 years of service until his retirement. Steve also spent many years with the Calumet Rotary and thoroughly enjoyed his time with the projects and people he served.

Steve was a gentle soul with a love for humor and always ready with a good joke.  His hobbies included metal detecting, walks at McLain Park, sitting on the deck with a good cup of coffee, and a variety of handy man projects. Steve always enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and in his caring nature, he was always ready to give anyone a hand. He will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
