Obituary: Stephen Marshall, Sr.

Stephen Marshall Sr of Calumet passed away peacefully in hospice on June 22^nd , 2023.

Stephen was a husband and father. He enjoyed traveling as well as playing in the swing band with close friend Benji Brotherton during his lifetime. He was passionate about his career at Calumet Electronics where he spent many years as a Sales manager. He was born in Detroit, Michigan August 26, 1950. Growing up he spent time at the family cottage in Eagle Harbor with his brothers and sisters. He would later on move to the Keweenaw and marry Alicia Koski of Mohawk. His son, Stephen Jr “Beeve” is currently a Journeymen Ironworker in the Local 732 Ironworkers in Helena, Montana and his daughter and son in-law Jeanette and Kevin McGregor and grandson Eric and grand daughter Carly. , He is also survived by a large family including ; Marjie Marshall , Kerry LaPointe, Phyllis Dykstra, Nancy Marshall, Amy Marshall, Sally Suico, Paul Marshall, Sue Wierzbicki, Elizabeth Larke, Cindy Poirot, Rex Marshall as well as the Koski’s ; Mike, Rich, Wanda, Lori, Bruce and his nephew Brian “Cabby” and Brian’s son Lyle whom they referred Steve as “Uncle Deebie” , Sarah, Molly , Dave and Miriam and many other nieces and nephews on both sides of the family.

Stephen was loved by his sons friends as well as his family. He was a very comedic, intelligent man and helped in any way that he could.He will be dearly missed by all. Internment will be at the Calvary cemetery with private ceremony.
