Shirley “Beaudy” Ceno, 94, a resident of Calumet passed away peacefully on Friday June 23, 2023, at the Omega House in Houghton.
Shirley was born on March 28, 1929 a daughter of the late Arvin and Delia (Pyrrhus) Beaudoin.
She attended local schools and graduated from Calumet High school with the class of 1947.
In August of 1950 she married the love of her life Thomas Ceno, who stayed by her side until his passing in May of 2003. The couple raised three children together Sherrie, Kathy “Babe”, and Marty.
Shirley worked for over 30 years at Vertin Brothers in Calumet doing advertising work for them during the last 15 years. She had a wonderful sense of humor and she enjoyed gardening, flowers, feeding the birds, animals, ice skating, reading books, going for walks, and most of all spending time with her family.
Shirley is preceded in death by he Husband Thomas, son Marty Ceno, Her brother Irving (Dorothy) Beaudoin and sister Mercedes (Eugene) Kump and a brother in law James Ceno.
Shirley is survived her children Sherrie (Clark) Pellergrini, and Kathy “Babe” Ceno, and her granddaughters Ashley and Lindsay Ceno of Chicago.

Per Shirley’s wishes cremation has taken place and a public visitation will be held on Tuesday June 27, 2023 from 12-2:00 PM in the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home in Calumet.
There will be no public funeral services, burial will take place in the Lake View Cemetery.
The Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral home will be assisting the family with arrangements.
