Sever Elmer Dixon, age 87, of Bootjack passed away at his home on March 22, 2018.
Elmer was born to Sever and Esther (Pelotola) Dixon on February 5, 1931 in Painesdale, Michigan.
He attended the Jacobsville School.
In his early 20’s he joined the United States Army and served in Panama for 3-4 years.
Elmer was an avid bowler and fisherman.
He was united in marriage to Yvonne Lasenen in 1955, and she preceded him in death on August 29, 1997.
Later in Life he was united in marriage to Vivian James on July 30, 2003 and she preceded him in death on June 20, 2016.
Elmer was also preceded in death by his daughter Melissa Dixon.

Sons: Rodney Dixon of Bootjack
Randy (Marsha) Dixon of New Boston, Michigan
Daughters: Donna (Rick) Thompson of White Lake, Michigan
Lenore (Dean) McGeachy of Waterford, MI
Grandchildren: Ricky Thompson, Rachel Thompson, Angela Fessenden and Christina Dritzius
Great-grandchildren: Aria Thompson, Ronan Thompson, Damian and Clint Fessenden
Brothers: Bruce Rautiola of California and Donald Rautiola of Michigan
Sister: Jeanette Baker of Henderson, Nevada
As he requested cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held this summer.
