Obituary: Ron Beaudette

Ron Beaudette, 81, of Bootjack, passed away unexpectedly, at UP Health System-Portage on December 23, 2022, with family by his side.

                Ron was born on August 12, 1941 in Lake Linden, a son on James and Margaret (Niskanen) Beaudette.  He graduated from Lake Linden-Hubbell High School in 1959.  He worked at Upper Peninsula Power Company for 38 years.  He was a member of Bootjack Fire and Rescue and the Lake Linden Sportsman’s Club.

                Ron was married to Sally Sarazin in Lake Linden on December 4, 1976.

                Ronnie loved going on family adventures and trips, spending time at the farm feeding the deer, and working in his garden.  He enjoyed watching his grandkids play sports and spending time with them.  He was well-known for his two dollar bills.  He was always willing to help out his kids or friends with whatever they needed.

                He was preceded in death by: his parents, numerous aunts, uncles, and special uncle-George.

                He is survived by: his wife-Sally; 3 children-Bradley (Jen) Beaudette, David (Courtney) Beaudette, and Betsy (Josh) Leemon; grandchildren-Brayden, Colton, and Dalton Beaudette, Mitch Cora, Brooklyn, Payton, and Cameron Beaudette, Ale Miguel-Valdes, Eli and Kinsley Leemon; sister-Marlene (Clarence) Perreault; nephews-Chris and Scott Perreault; Aunt-Gert Andorf; along with numerous sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Lake Linden with Fr. Joseph Boakye Yiadom and Fr. John Martignon to concelebrate.  A Celebration of Life will be held at the Dreamland in Bootjack following the Mass.  Spring Burial will be at the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Lake Linden.  The Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden is in charge of arrangements.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bootjack Fire and Rescue.
