Obituary: Reino George Narhi

Reino George Narhi, 65, of Osceola Township, died peacefully at home on October 2, 2023.

                He was born on June 18, 1958, a son of Reino O. and Delores (Kinnunen) Narhi.  He graduated from Lake Linden-Hubbell High School in 1977.  He entered into the Laborers Union in Milwaukee and worked for Milwaukee Boiler.  He worked at the Red Garter in Calumet, and later worker as a carpenter.

                He was married to Roxanne (Laine) at Saint John’s Lutheran Church in Hubbell in 1990.

                Reino was a member of Saint John’s, where he served as an usher and deacon; and he faithfully attended Bible study.

                He enjoyed farming, fishing, gardening, and hunting.  He loved animals; and he loved his son.        

                He was preceded in death by his parents.

                He is survived by: his wife-Roxanne; a son-Matthew; a brother-Robert (Rhianna) Narhi of Colorado; a sister-Betty Jo Narhi of Washington; niece-Viktoria; mother-in-law-Shirley Winters of Marquette; sister-in-law-Kris Anderson of Gwinn; and close friend-Jerry Michaelson.

                The Funeral Service will be at 4:00 P.M. on Thursday October 5, at Saint John’s Lutheran Church in Hubbell with Rev. Bryan Lundquist to officiate.  Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. until the start of the service at the church.
