Phyllis N. Kangas, 81, formerly of Toivola, died Thursday, April 19, 2018, at the Houghton County Medical Care Facility in Hancock.
She was born July 13, 1936, in Hancock, a daughter of the late Toivo and Ellen (Keranen) Kangas, and was a 1954 graduate of the Jeffers High School.
Phyllis was a veteran of the United States Air Force, stationed at McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey.
She was employed for over 20 years at General Motors, working on the assembly line.
Phyllis is survived by several cousins.
