Obituary: Penelope Hupp

As received from Memorial Chapel Funeral and Cremation Service:

Penelope Florence Hupp, infant Daughter of Neal and Natalie (Berryman) Hupp of Chassell, received her angel wings on Friday, January 20th 2023.

Penny was born January 12th 2023 at 1 lbs 5.5 0z and 11.5 inches long. She was surrounded by the love of her family, and amazing caregivers at Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor every moment of her life. She fought very hard to stay with us, but in the end, she was too perfect for this world.

Penny’s family was blessed with 8 days of beautiful moments with her. Her siblings, Uncles, Aunt and Papa, were able to meet and fall in love with her. She snuggled her parents, and her Grandma sang her lullabies. Penelope passed peacefully in the loving arms of her parents.

She will be greatly missed, but Penny’s family finds comfort in knowing she is resting in the arms of Jesus.

In addition to her parents, Penny is survived by her siblings, Keaton and Ryla, maternal grandparents Brian and Donna Berryman of Houghton, paternal grandparents Kris and Janice Hupp of Chassell, great grandparents Jane Berryman of Lake Linden and Herb and Florence Jarvi of Chassell, as well as numerous Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and extended family.

A service for Penny will be held 7:00 pm Friday, January 27, 2023, at the Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Hancock with Herb Jarvi to officiate.

Friends may call at the Memorial Chapel Funeral & Cremations Service – Hancock Chapel on Friday from 5 to 7:00 pm.
