Pamela Marie Brogan (Sayotovich) entered into eternal life on October 3, 2018 with her family by her side. Pam was born on May 12, 1953 in L’Anse, MI to Ralph and Betty (Tobin) Sayotovich. At an early age her family moved to Livonia, MI where she spent her childhood. Pam married Dennis Brogan at Sacred Heart Church in L’Anse, MI on November 6, 1971. Together they made their home in L’Anse and raised their three children.
Pam spent many years working at Baraga County Memorial Hospital and local doctors’ offices. Her favorite job was her last, as the secretary at Sacred Heart School. She absolutely loved being around the children. Pam had many hobbies – she loved gardening, quilting, sewing, and volunteering to name just a few. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus church, the church choir, and the ladies auxiliary. Her greatest source of happiness was her family. Pam adored her seven grandkids and loved spending time with them as much as possible. She was blessed with an abundance of friends and will be missed by all who knew her.
Pam is survived by her husband, Dennis of L’Anse; her children Beth Ott of Appleton, Jennifer Lundy (Dennis) of Dayton, OH, and Joseph Brogan (Laura) of L’Anse. She is further survived by her grandchildren Abigail and Carter Ott, Nicklas, Nolan, and Elizabeth Lundy, and Natalie and Ryan Brogan. Also surviving are Pam’s siblings Lynn Gibson (Tom) of Hastings, MI, David Sayotovich of Viroqua, WI, and John Sayotovich (Deb) of Pleasant Lake, MI and several nieces and nephews.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Betty (Tobin) Sayotovich, and son in law Christopher Ott.
In lieu of flowers Pam requested donations be made to Sacred Heart School, 433 Baraga Ave, L’Anse, MI 49946.
A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, October 11th at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church with Fr. Corey Litzner officiating. A luncheon and fellowship will follow the service in the church hall. The Jacobson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
