Michael William Silvola, 63, a resident of Atlantic Mine passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at UP Health System-Marquette.
He was born on June 16, 1954, in Hancock to Donald and Bertha (Somero) Silvola.
He attended the local schools.
Following high school, Mike enlisted with the United States Marines. He was honorably discharged in 1973.
Mike worked as a custodian for Copper Country Mental Health.
He enjoyed watching Green Bay Packer Football on Sundays.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his son, Steven Silvola.
Funeral services will be held on Friday October 6, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home in Calumet with Father John Martignon to officiate.
