In the early hours of Sunday, October 21, 2018, Melvin John Heikkinen Sr. passed away peacefully at the age of 78 years. Melvin will be greatly missed and forever remembered by his children, Bonnie, Cindy (Don), Kelly, Melvin Jr., and Amanda (Derrick); his grandchildren; his brothers, Tommy (Patricia), Gerry (Denise); and sister, Doris. Melvin was predeceased by his father, Armas; his mother, Martha; sister, Diane; and brother, Roy. Melvin and his best companion, Jinko loved each other very much, there isn’t anything they didn’t do together.
Melvin served in the U.S. Army and lived by code of conduct ‘Never Surrender of Your Own Free Will’.
