Mary Ellen (Bo) Eggeling, age 88, a resident of Laurium, Michigan passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on Tuesday August 16, 2022, at the Omega House in Houghton, Michigan.
Mary Ellen was born on September 16, 1933 to Ella (Wickstrom) Bo. She grew up in the Copper Country and attended local schools, graduating in 1951 from Calumet High School. In July of 1955 she married the love of her life Arnold Eggeling. She and Arnold had 5 wonderful children and raised them in the Copper Country.
Mary Ellen is preceded in death by her husband Arnold Eggeling, her mother Ella Wickstrom Bo, and her daughter Lana (Eggeling) Gibson.

Arnie Eggeling of Laurium, Michigan

A funeral service for Mary Ellen will be held on Friday August 19, 2022, at 11:00 am in the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Friday August 19, 2022 from 9:00-11:00 am. A graveside service will follow the funeral in the Lake View Cemetery section 75, located in Calumet, Michigan. A luncheon will follow the burial at the Siskiwit Reception Hall.
The Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home will be assisting the family with arrangements.
