Marja A. Cowan, 46, a resident of Houghton passed away on Tuesday November 16, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
She was born on July 1, 1975 in Milwaukee a daughter to the late Robert and Deloris (Unger) Marx.
Marja moved to the Copper Country in her early years and has made her home here since.
On December 10, 1992 she was united in marriage to Thomas Cowan.
She owned Dark Horse Saddlery in Houghton and also helped her husband at his business Sportscard Connection in Houghton.
She loved to play video games and was a horse lover since she was young.

Children: Crystal Cowan (Cory), Brett Cowan and Kayla Cowan
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday November 24, 2021 at 7:00 PM in the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home in Calumet
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 6-7 PM at the funeral home.
