Lake Linden–Margaret Mary “Peggy” Belopavlovich, 86, a resident of the Houghton County Medical Care Facility, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018 in Hancock with her family by her side.
She was born on June 4, 1932 in Hancock to John Sr. (Jack) and Veronica O’Brien. She graduated from the Hancock High School in 1950. She worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Carriage in Hancock. She married Daniel Belopavlovich on August 2, 1958 and had their home in Lake Linden.
She was preceded in death by her grandson Timothy G. Jewell. Surviving are her loving husband Dan, her sister Kathy (John) Bode of Eden Prairie, MN, and Jack (Mary) O’Brien of Grandville, MI and four children, Gregory of Lake Linden, Ann Luft of Haslett, MI, Colleen (George) Jewell of Dryden, MI, and Patricia of Lake Linden, six grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 12th at 11am at the St. Joseph Church in Lake Linden with Rev. Fr. Joseph Boakye Yiadom to officiate. Friends may call at the Ryan Funeral Home in Calumet from 6 to 8pm on Thursday, October 11th with a Vigil Service scheduled for 7:30pm.
