Our precious daughter, Lynne Marie Kuivanen, 53, of Tapiola, Michigan was called by our Lord unto eternal life on Monday, April 6, 2020 at UP Health System- Portage in Hancock.
Lynne was born on February 17, 1967 in Hancock, the daughter of Chadwick and the late Myrna Kuivanen. Lynne graduated from the Copper Country Learning Center in Hancock and resided for several years at both the Oak House in Hancock and the Lakeside Home in Hubbell. She was a member of the Tapiola Apostolic Lutheran Church.
Lynne was a very special angel sent to us from Heaven. She always had a sweet smile and the gentlest soul. Her love radiated to everyone and we were truly blessed to have her in our lives.
She excelled at puzzle building, doing latch hook and loved to be neat about everything. The loss of our dear Lynne is felt deeply by family and all who had known her.
Preceding Lynne in death are her mother, Myrna (Peterson) Kuivanen, her brother Jeremy Kuivanen, and her grandparents Helmer and Saima Peterson.
She is survived by her loving parents, Chadwick and Eleanore “Elly” Kuivanen of Tapiola, MI
Her sisters: Sheri (Jan) Juntunen of Hamosassa, FL
Pammi (Allen) Washuleski of Tapiola, MI
A brother: Jeffrey Kuivanen of Chisholm, MN
She is also survived by numerous relatives and special friends.
Graveside services for Lynne Kuivanen, 53, of Tapiola who passed away April 6, 2020, will be held 3:30 pm Friday, May 22, 2020, in the Elo Cemetery with Pastor Ken Storm to officiate.
