Luke Francois Elliott, age 30, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 12th at the family home in L’Anse, Michigan.
Luke was born to Don and Catherine (Francois) Elliott on February 19, 1990 in Houston, Texas. He spent most of his childhood years in Poynette, Wisconsin, where he excelled in music and athletics, playing in various school and organized bands, choruses and teams. Luke was loved by many classmates, known for his sense of humor. The family relocated to Neenah, Wisconsin, where Luke graduated from Neenah High School in 2008.
Luke continued with his passion for music, writing songs and performing songs through various social media outlets. He was a self-taught guitarist, pianist, and drummer. He loved the fact that his music was being listened to around the world. He also had artists compliment him on his remixes of their original songs, which he cherished. Luke’s various jobs merely served to pay for guitar strings, instruments, and music production software.
Luke was a very kind and generous person who sacrificed himself to protect others from any harm or injustice. He often brought home friends in need who would stay at the family home under his care.
Luke’s love and dedication to his Catholic faith and his devout prayer life was inspirational to many. He prayed and sacrificed tirelessly for the salvation and healing of loved ones. He was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Appleton, Wisconsin.
Luke leaves behind his parents Don and Catherine, his brother Jared, his niece and Goddaughter Fallon, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins whom he loved. Luke was preceded in death by his grandparents Richard and Lorraine Francois of L’Anse and Donald and Gloria Elliott of Caspian.
Visitation will take place at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in L’Anse at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 19th, followed by the funeral mass at noon with Fr. Corey Litzner officiating. Burial will be in the spring in the L’Anse Evergreen Cemetery. Jacobson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
