Loretta Ann Golden, age 75 of L’Anse, MI passed away on Thursday, June 9th, 2022 at Canal View in Hancock, MI.
She was born August 30, 1946 in L’Anse daughter of Ira and Eleanor (Soli) Metz. Loretta married Anthony Golden on January 25, 1964 in L’Anse. She was a member of United Lutheran Church and the VFW Auxiliary. Loretta enjoyed cooking, gardening, going to garage sales bumming around, and spending time with friends.
Surviving are her children, Carol (John) Carlson of LaCenter, KY, Janet (Charles) Deziel of Baraga; brother Larry (Jo) Metz of Siera Vista, AZ; grandchildren Jessica and Myranda Deziel; great grandchildren, Brynlee and Lachlan; and nieces and nephews..
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Anthony.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, June 17th at 1 p.m. at United Lutheran Church in L’Anse with Rev. John Ansel officiating. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the L’Anse Evergreen Cemetery. A luncheon will follow in the church hall. Jacobson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
