Linda Beckner, 71, a resident of Copper City passed away on Tuesday September 2, 2019 at her home.
She was born in August of 1948 in Laurium to Adolph and Gewndolyn (Zigman) Kuivinen. She attended Calumet High School and graduated with the Class of 1966. After high school Linda attended Michigan Technological University and graduated with her Bachelors Degree in 1970. She then received her Masters Degree from the University of Phoenix in 1992.
She worked as an underwriter for various insurance companies in Michigan and New York.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Gwendolyn Kuivinen and sister, Rita Bykkonen
She is survived by:
Her Aunt: Ruth (Robert) Supanich
Her uncle: Paul Zigman
Along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins
Per Linda’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held at a later date in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Eagle Harbor at 1:00 pm Friday September 6, 2019 at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Eagle Harbor with Pastor Ken Toth to officiate.
