Leola Dahl, 90, a resident of Dollar Bay passed away on Thursday February 18, 2021 at Canal View Houghton County.
She was born on April 17, 1930 in Detroit a daughter of the late William and Olive (Laity) Sampson.
Leola graduated from Southeastern High School in Detroit.
She was united in marriage to Steve Farkas they had 4 children after his passing Leola was married to Roy Dahl on July 22, 1988. They had 32 years of marriage and enjoyed traveling to Europe and all over the United States.
Leola was employed at Cypress Manor in Hancock and at JCPenny in Houghton.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and sewing.
Preceding her in death was her first husband Steve and a brother Bill.
Leola was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Dollar Bay.
Surviving are: Her Husband Roy
Children: Danny Farkas of Sundusky, MI Nancy Farkas of St. Clair Shores, MI, Larry (Lori) Farkas of Muskegon, MI and Kenneth Farkas of Baraga.
6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday February 23, 2021 at 11:00 AM in Bethany Baptist Church in Dollar Bay with Pastor Caleb Jackson to officiate.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the church from 10-11:00 AM.
The Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home will announce a complete obituary on Monday.
