Lawrence M. Krause, 73, a resident of Eagle Harbor passed away on Monday April 30, 2018 at the Omega House in Houghton.
He was born on May 29, 1944 in Detroit, to Lawrence and Josephine (Dolinski) Krause.
He attended Riverside High School in Dearborn Heights, and graduated with the Class of 1962.
Following high school, Lawrence attended Wayne State University, earning his Associates degree.
Lawrence worked for Detroit Deisel for 31 years, retiring in 2008.
In 2011, he and his wife Susan to Eagle Harbor.
Lawrence enjoyed to go out fly fishing. He served as the sexton of the Pine Grove Cemetery in Eagle Harbor.
He loved spending time with his 2 golden retrievers, Bailey and Kooper.
On November 15, 1986 he was united in marriage to Cheryl “Susan” Hoff.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Josephine, and his brother, Richard.

Per Lawrence’s wishes cremation has taken place, and a graveside service will be held in the summertime at Pine Grove Cemetery in Eagle Harbor.
